Strings. Cables. Connections. Nets.
They knit the way, intertwine time and space, and they reconfigurate the collective body. This exhibition, this conversation, introduces us into a hybrid body of work configured by a selection of artists, a territory in constant mutation where analog and digital coexist. Using the original meaning of the word “conversation” as a reflection of a cohabitated space, the symbology of the string and the cable allows for new and hybrid ways of confronting the body, the being, affection and connection. It is the transition from one into the other, the string into the cable, that we are able to see our idiosyncrasies and societal prejudices exposed, as well as the results of an ever-changing society.
